Our annual tradition: Breakfast with Santa at Northgate Mall

Sponsored postThis weekend we got a chance to cross off another family tradition on our list this year: the Northgate Mall’s annual Breakfast with Santa. Every year we look forward to the beginning of December so we can dress up the kiddos in some fancy new clothes from Gymboree and head to Northgate Mall to meet the big guy himself while enjoying a nice continental breakfast. Northgate Mall Santa 2015Yes, we could technically see him any day since he has been in the mall for weeks, but there is something special about waiting for the event for the whole experience. Like last year, there were awesome crafts, we ate donuts and had coffee, and there were carolers to make it extra fun and festive. Northgate Mall Santa Breakfast

And, then Santa came in and did a special story time with the kids. Northgate Mall Santa story timeWhen the event was winding down, we got in line and the kids got to sit on Santa’s lap to tell him what they were asking for this Christmas. Just like previous years, the kids adored the Northgate Santa, and he was so sweet to them. He really is an awesome guy, and I’m happy that he’s been the only Santa they have really known. After pictures, it was time for some shopping at Northgate Mall. With three major department stores, a food court, a play area, and over 130 stores to choose from, it's easy to find something for everyone. Every store we stopped in had great sales going on and we had a great experience shopping, having lunch, and stopping to dance to the band playing at the end of the mall. Northgate Mall band
