Skip the shopping trip with the new Walmart mobile app

Sponsored post basic disclosureP&G delivered to your doorDid you know that Walmart has a mobile app? Not only can you comparison shop and find great deals, you can also order now directly from your phone, making stocking up on home essentials easy and convenient. The image above might be a *slight* exaggeration, because the products came packaged in cardboard boxes, but the point is that I didn’t even have to leave home to get all my essentials.

Because this is what a normal shopping trip with my little jokesters looks like: Kids in the Bounty displayWho doesn’t want to hang out in a fort made from Bounty Select-A-Size paper towels?

Swiffer Bissell MopHere is my daughter trying to talk me into the Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Mop starter kit that we already own. She’s fairly certain we need two for some reason. Hanging on the paper aisle at WalmartHas any little kid ever loved paper products more than my two?Bikes at WalmartAnd of course we can’t pass by the bike aisle without them both hopping on a bike or two… or three.

With back to school and the rainy days of fall on the horizon, I have plenty of items I need to stock up on for the season, but absolutely zero patience for their shenanigans that make any shopping trip an excursion as opposed to a quick errand. So, instead of packing them up in the middle of the day to load up a cart of my favorite P&G products, I decided to order everything from home and sit back and wait for my delivery.

By shopping for household items on Walmart.com or by using the Walmart smartphone app, you are giving yourself the option to shop wherever and whenever you want – at your own convenience. No shenanigans, no getting talked into gum, Band-Aids with their favorite characters, or all million toys that will never, ever be played with again. Walmart appWith either option you can choose to have your purchase shipped directly to your house {bonus: shipping is free if you spend $50 or more} or shipped for free to the nearest Walmart location for a quick and easy pick-up with Site to Store.

Thinking about all the leaves and wet weather we are going to be carting in during the next few weeks, I focused on items for floor care first. We may not need the Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Mop starter kit that we were raving about a few months ago, but we do tend to go through the SteamBoost refill pads fairly quick, so the first thing I did was to order up a pack of those.

Next, I ordered up a big bunch of the Bounty Select-A-Size paper towels for all our small messes, and some Tide Pods Spring Meadow Detergent for all of our huge messes along with some Color Catchers for laundry.

Then I got some Pampers Baby Dry Diapers to give to my sister who isn’t able to drive after delivering her new baby but desperately needs all the essentials for her newborn and her toddler. Then I threw in a couple of body washes and Febreze air fresheners and I was ready to order. P&G at my doorIf you are like me and would prefer to spend the last few weeks of summer hanging out by pools and playing in parks instead of begging children to pick up their feet, get off the floor, hurry up, slow down, or, my favorite, “act like a human, not a puppy”, while shopping for supplies, I would definitely recommend you take advantage of all the ways to shop for your P&G favorites from Walmart without leaving your home. You can download the Walmart smartphone app here or you can simply visit Walmart.com and do all your shopping… all without ever having to threaten to buckle anyone in a cart.
