Keep your kids active with the Yvolution Y Glider XL

Yvolution Y Glider Scooter in actionSponsored postWe’re always on the go as a family, so my kids are very used to us walking for hours. But, my son tends to get tired quickly and would ask to sit in the stroller after only a little bit. We used to fight it and make him walk, but these days we just use our secret weapon and he’s able to keep up with us for miles and miles.

Meet our secret weapon: the Yvolution Y Glider XL Scooter Glider XL in packageGlider riderThe Glider XL Scooter is a great way to help your child learn to scoot with confidence. With their ‘Learn-to-Steer’ technology, the Y Glider XL can adapt to all ages and stages. I knew it would perfect for my son and I couldn’t wait to get it together. Yvolution Y Glider ScooterPutting the scooter together was simple enough – just a few clicks to connect the scooter base to the handle. Glider XL assemblyAfter that, we adjusted the handle to fit his height comfortably. With it’s simple toggle latch combined with a push button for safety, this is super easy to adjust on the fly as the scooter goes from kid to kid. Glider XL adjustmentThen we needed to choose a steering level for him to start with. Since he’s not new to scooting, we went with the level 2 steering that allows a bit more movement for him. Glider XL stagesThankfully the Glider XL is easily adjustable so you can quickly go between the three levels with the push of a button. Since I have three kids who love to scoot, this quick and easy adjustment means that the kids can pass around the scooter at playdates or on walks without having to bring tools with you. Glider XL stages 1 2 3After everything was set up, it was time for customizing his ride. With the Glider XL you can customize the deck and wheel inserts to make your ride truly your own. He chose the black foot grip and decided on three of the included spoke insert colors in a pattern of his choosing. Glider XL wheelsAnd, then he was ready to ride! No complaining about how far away the store is or why we have to do one more lap around the lake, he can go as long as we do. Glider XL funWith a longer and wider deck and chunky rear wheel, the Y Glider XL is a stable ride for learning and mastering the basics. Even though he’s been riding a two wheeler for years, he’s still not confident on a scooter, so I love that he can gain confidence on the scooter without worrying about balance. 1. I really want to give this to my daughter for her 5th birthday. She hypotoina (low muscle tone), balance and gross motor issues. This scooter would really help her gain strength and work on coordination. She has been seeing other kids in our neighborhood with scooters and she wants one too.

  12. I would love to see my son on this. He’s very academically inclined, which I love, but needs motivation to play physically. He also has a hard time making alot of friends, so this would be great independent physical play. I know he love it.
