Matching Girls Monday: Mother’s Day Edition

Happy Mother's DayIn honor of Mother's Day this week, the girls and I were rocking the matching Mommy-and-Me plaid. I had been stashing these shirts away waiting for a day to surprise my girls, and Mother's Day seemed like as good of day as any. You should have heard the squealing that ensued when I brought them out of my closet and presented them to my daughters.

They have my whole heart and always will.Mother's Day matching Not only was our first time of matching girls mama and daughter super exciting for the girls, it was also really popular on our day exploring Ballard in Seattle. Crew doesn't have a ton of matching Mommy-and-Me or Father-and-Son styles, they do get them in periodically and we swoon over them whenever we find them. I found these shirts on clearance at Seattle Premium Outlets last year and was doing a happy dance when I found all three for us girls. While my little one is still a little small for the size 4-5 tunic, it just means we have a few more years of matching ahead of us, right?
