October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to kick it off, Lee Jeans is celebrating their 16th annual Lee National Denim Day® on October 1st. By inviting companies to go “casual” for a cause and have their employees all wear jeans on Denim Day in exchange for a $5 contribution to the fight against breast cancer.
It sounds like a small amount, but even a medium-sized company can donate a large amount to breast cancer research. In fact, since its first year, Lee National Denim Day® has raised more than $86 million for the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer and has one million supporters nationwide each year.
Although Lee National Denim Day® is one of the largest single-day fundraisers nationwide for breast cancer, it’s not just limited to October 1st. Any day during the month will work, just choose a day that works for your business.
I was wearing my awesome new Lee Jeans in honor of National Denim Day today, were you?
